PPP western Region Elects New Executives

PPP WESTERN REGION ELECTS NEW EXECUTIVES
The Progressive People's Party (PPP) on Saturday 21st March, 2015 organized regional elections as part of our preparation for the upcoming 2016 elections.
The election saw a massive attendance, including national executives like  Madam Mary Ankomah_ national vice chairperson, Mr Hagan_ national advisory council chairman and founding member of the party, Divine Nkrumah_ national Youth coordinator, Nelson Alistair Tairo_ Deputy national youth coordinator and  delegates from all the constituencies across the region . The election took place at zenith hotel in Tarkoradi. Very prominent and influencial people in the region contested for the positions and we had free and fair elections.
The election started exactly 9:30 am and lasted for four and half hours. The newly elected executives are:
1. Chairman, Mr Richard Amoakoh
2. Secretary, Mr Isaac Mensah
3. Regional Organizer, Mr Moses Tsumasi Anka
4. Education Secretary, Madam Adwoa Ansah
5. Deputy Regional Organizer_ Mr Eric Mensah
6. Regional Youth Organizer __ Mr Eric seedof Asiedu Simpey
7. Deputy Regional Youth Organizer__ Bright Nuamah


The elected executives received congratulatory message from their co-contestants and showed their support for the executives for 2016 general elections.
The elected executives confirm that they would not leave any
stone unturned as far the 2016 general elections is concerned .
They then asserted that they have set their eyes on winning not less than ten ( 10) Parliamentary seats in the Western Region .
For this reason, they would initiate  a project dubbed ‘Operation Winning 2016 Elections’.
The chairman then  concluded that PPP is a party for the people and the people must claim it with joy to own it and we must be ready for SOUL WINNING CAMPAIGN now and forever.


Since its formation in 2012 , the PPP managed to pull over 64 000 popular votes in the 2012 general
elections with Dr . Papa Kwesi Nduom as the
flagbearer and Ms . Eva Lokko as the running mate , making it the third largest Political party and the 2nd largest opposition party in Ghana .
